Holistic Healing Center's Personalized Yoga Instructor, Leslie Carson, Introduces Herself
I am very excited that Leslie Carson has recently joined our team. I have had the opportunity to witness Leslie's group Yoga at Peace Valley Park outside and have worked with her individually. She makes Yoga more approachable and meaningful for me and the breathwork is emphasized which really helps with emotional balance and centering. She will really tailor the practice to the individual which is wonderful. I am happy to have Leslie introduce herself to all of you!

Yoga can help you heal faster. As a complement to your treatment plan with Dr. Bernstein and her team, a simple 10-minute yoga practice can calm you when you are anxious, lift you when you are in the dumps, and keep you centered in the face of stress. The most advanced posture, in my humble opinion, is sitting quietly, comfortably, with complete inner peace. Yes, there are postures, and breathing practices, to balance your body, nervous system, and mind. But deep contentment (and a connection to spirit, if that is relevant to you) is what yoga is all about. I call it being unflappable, and having struggled with obesity, depression, addiction, joint pain, and back pain, I can attest to the power of yoga to bring out the best in myself. I am passionate about sharing what I have learned over 20 years of practice and teaching to inspire my clients to live with more vibrant physical and mental health and joy!
You are unique. My approach is the most beneficial yoga practice for you with your unique condition and goals as your guide. Yoga is a philosophy and a set of ancient tools used to bring out your highest human potential. Viniyoga is an approach that emphasizes customized personal practice, so that anyone who wants to be a little better, can have a yoga practice they feel confident doing on their own to achieve their desired state of being, in the moment, and over time. Bringing your focus to your breath, body, and mind, I will guide you to develop just the right practice to bring you from where you are now, toward the physical and emotional state you desire.
